JT Smith, Director

Hello everybody! It’s your boy JT and I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself. Let’s start off with one of my favorite quotes: “Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius.” These are words that I stand by and the reason why I built my car. When you look at our Saab community, a lot of us consider a beautiful Saab to be a stock car with a set of rims. I built my car to be outside of this norm. Sometimes you gotta color outside of the lines because there is beauty in the little imperfections. My Saab journey started when I was 24 and I was looking for a new car. I was debating between a Mercedes and a Saab. Mercedes did not want to work with me, maybe because I was young or who knows. I took my money and went to the Saab dealership right across the street. That’s where I fell in love with my first Saab, a 9-3 linear 5 speed and just threw some rims on it. As we all know it has been a love/hate relationship that leans more to the love side since I’ve owned the first one.
