The Saab Club of North America (SCNA) announces the 42nd Saab Owners Convention will be held in Parsippany, New Jersey Thursday July 16th-20th at the Sheraton Parsippany Book your hotel rooms now!
This 42nd Saab Owners Convention will celebrate the SUM OF OUR PARTS.
As Saab moves forward in time,
as an orphan marque, some things are critical to us.
Community: Nationally and internationally – but especially locally. Online and in real life.
Local Clubs: From Facebook groups to well-established Clubs – the folks we hang with.
Knowledge: WIS online, YouTube to your go-to expert or channel.
Our shops: From support, service and that occasional roadside assist..
The connection between all of these things,
the connection to keeping our cars running is simple and evident: PARTS.
We spend a lot of time talking about parts, looking for parts, ordering parts…wishing for parts, saving for parts.
Without parts, well, you know.
So this year, the 42nd SOC, we’re going all-in on Parts.
Saab Original, yes. But also everyone else that keeps us running. From the salvagers on eBay, the engineers up late in CAD, and the entrepreneurs designing and creating new solutions to some age-old issues.
Part-time is now full-time at SOC42.

1. Book your hotel room. You can book your hotel room early using the link and and referring to SAAB Owners Convention. If you call the hotel please specify or you will miss out on the special rate.

4. Don’t forget to join SCNA! You must be a current SCNA member to attend SOC: join now or at registration ($42.00 annually).

The fine print? Well, that’s simple too. We’ve got you covered.
Attendees are responsible for their own room charges.
A credit or debit card is permissible for holding the reservation.
Attendees will not be charged until check-in.
Room rate is subject to taxes and fees.
Our Group Rate is available 3 days prior (Monday) & 3 days after (Tuesday) based on Hotel availability.

There is a 72-hour (3 day) cancellation allowed at no charge prior to the event.
If we must cancel or postpone the Convention, we will refund your registration in full. If you are unable to travel to the Convention due to mandatory restrictions we will also refund your registration in full, but you must notify us on or before Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
The convention will proceed as planned unless circumstances beyond our control dictate a postponement or cancellation; for example, if quarantines or travel restrictions are imposed which make the convention impossible to operate; or if responsible medical authorities advise voluntary restrictions on travel or social gatherings in the area of the convention; or if it appears to the SCNA Board that holding the convention as scheduled might present an unwarranted risk to human health.
We will make every effort to contact SOC attendees if the status of the convention changes. Check saabconvention.com for any status updates.
Cancellation – If you cancel
- On or before May 31, 2025: Refund requests will be subject to a $25.00 processing fee per person.
- June 1, 2025 through June 30, 2025: Refund requests will be subject to a 50% processing fee.
- After June 30, 2025: Sorry, no refunds will be issued. We will consider hardship requests case-by-case.
You may transfer your registration to another person at no cost up until June 30, 2025 upon formal approval from the event committee. All refund requests are subject to seven business days for review and may take up to ten business days to process. Please contact us for any cancellation and transfer requests.
HOTEL ROOM CANCELLATION: Hotel accommodations, if any, are not included in your Convention registration. Cancellation of your SOC registration is not related to any hotel accommodations you may have made. SCNA has no control over the hotel cancellation policy nor is SCNA able to negotiate specific reservation terms/cancellation requests on your behalf, so please ensure you communicate directly with the hotel .
