L’Tanya Rivas

L’Tanya Rivas and her husband, Patrick Rivas of Northern Virginia are Saab enthusiasts and members of SCNA. For the past four decades, Saabs have been an important contribution to the Rivas family.
The beginning of the Rivas journey begins with L’Tanya’s very first car, a Saab 9000 CD Turbo, then the couple’s fun sidekick, a Saab 900 Turbo hatchback, and the road cruiser, the 9-5 Aero followed by the unknown gem, SCNA, which has become an important part of our family life.
L’Tanya and her husband are SCNA ambassador members. L’Tanya has an extent background in web design development and media training from Northern Virginia Community College and experience in creating websites on several building tool platforms such WordPress • Weebly • Wix • Bootstrap • CSS • Drupal • Dreamweaver • HTML • JavaScript • MySQL • PHP • SEO • SQL and other collaborative website editing features such as • Google Suite • Adobe Creative Suite and form suites applications.
Since becoming an ambassador, L’Tanya has worked with the SCNA board members, the president, Shelly Baxter along with the guidance and mentorship of Jim Hickstein in completing front-end updates and other website management tasks. L’Tanya Rivas hopes to have the opportunity to join the SCNA board in fulfilling their mission in elevating the organization and creating a navigation home for its members globally.
