CarolAnn’s Saab journey began even before she was born. Her father, John Jacobson, was the first Saab dealer in Delaware, operating under the name Sports Car Service. Growing up surrounded by the brand, Saab wasn’t just a business — it was part of her family’s identity.
In 1984, her brother, Bill Jacobson, took over the reins so their father could pursue his passion for racing. Then, in 1992, CarolAnn was presented with the opportunity to join the family business. She stepped in and has been by Bill’s side ever since, helping build a thriving independent Saab shop rooted in expertise, integrity, and community.
Over the years, the Saab world became more than work — it became a lifestyle. The connections she formed within the Saab community turned into lasting friendships across the globe. She has traveled throughout the country attending Saab Owners Conventions, celebrating not just the cars, but the passionate people who love them.
Although CarolAnn has spent more than 30 years in the Saab business and knows the ins and outs of Saab service and parts, she’ll be the first to admit she’s never actually worked on one herself. Instead, her strengths lie in organization, creativity, and vision. From selecting the perfect Saab-themed swag to fostering community spirit, she focuses on bringing enthusiasm and connection to everything she does. That passion continues to guide her mission as a member of the board of directors.
