According to Bloomberg News, Spyker Cars NV is in talks with other automakers to share technology and a base platform for a new car to be based on the 92 design. The new car would fit in under the 9-3 in the Saab heirarchy, and would be "tear-drop shaped," according to Victor Muller, Spyker CEO. "Discussions are already ongoing," Muller said in a telephone interview on his way from Gothenburg, Sweden, to Saab’s plant in Trollhaettan. "That will be on my plate for the next 100 days."
